Amy is an intelligent yet somewhat ditzy American. She has a horrendous French accent, but faces misunderstandings with enthousiasm and energy– which happens a lot, as she often takes things a little too literally.

Actress Ali Krasner is an American with a degree in theatre from The New School. She has worked as a freelance actor and comedian in Paris for over 4 years. She has also taught acting both at the American Children’s Theatre and the Carrot Cake Club, both in Paris.

François is a Parisian with very little knowledge of other cultures. A true professional, he works at a consulting firm and takes himself very seriously. Intent on improving his English, he often tries to practice with Amy despite the fact that her language skills are clearly better than his.

Actor Florian Pierre has played many different characters for both movies and theater. He has already worked both in French and English with an international crew for commercials, video clips and movies, and generally has the leading part. Many of his movies were shown in international film festivals, and he recently won an acting award at the 48h Film Festival for the movie “3ème étage.”

Paulette is a bilingual character who shows up out of the blue to poke fun at her friends, break down their language mistakes, and provide a pedagogical aspect for the episodes.

Actress Maïlis Jeunesse has played the main character in several short videos and traditional theatre pieces. She is an energetic and multilingual actress who speaks both English and Spanish. Her most recent performances include the nurse in “Anna” and Leonor in “Le Cid.”
